British Northumbria University scientists have revealed the best nutritional supplements for people over the age of 50.

These acids are present in a large amount in fish oil, especially in the liver of codfish, according to what was reported on the “Russia Today” website.
Scientists believe that omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are found in fish oil, have beneficial properties that are necessary for the normal functioning of the heart.
According to them, “The results of studies showed that omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids can reduce the level of triglycerides in the blood, raise the level of good cholesterol, and the level of high blood pressure.”
The researchers note that fish oil improves blood flow to the brain during intellectual activity and affects some aspects of thinking in young adults. These characteristics are very important, especially for middle-aged and elderly people. Because thanks to the intake of fish oil, blood flow to the brain improves, which prevents dementia and a general deterioration in brain function.
