Today, Sunday, the Security Media Cell in Iraq announced that it had found 3 terrorist hideouts and explosive devices in Kirkuk.
And the cell stated – in a statement reported by (Alsumaria News) news channel – that “a joint force of the 18th, 19th, and 20th brigades, in partnership with the forces of the division’s intelligence department of the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency, backed by the engineering effort and a force of drones, carried out a large-scale preemptive operation to search and clear The areas (Wadi Zghitoun, Al-Noor Complex) southwest of Kirkuk governorate, as part of continuing their security operations to purge responsibility sectors from the remnants of terrorist gangs.”
The operation – according to the statement – resulted in the discovery of three dens, 10 explosive devices and 10 detonation rulers. The dens were destroyed, and the materials were removed and destroyed by the engineering effort forces.
