Following the conclusion of an agreement today at COP26 in Glasgow (UK), Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg lamented that the conference was being summed up in “blah, blah, blah”, reiterating accusations she had already made against world leaders.
“The real work continues outside these rooms. And we will never, ever give up, “wrote the iconic figure of the Fridays for the Future movement at Twitter at the end of the global climate conference.

A few days ago, the activist predicted that an agreement that would be characterized as “from ‘small steps in the right direction’, ‘achieving some progress’ or ‘gaining gradually’ would be tantamount to losing.”
Responding to a question from AFP in mid-October, Tunberg said she feared that, despite its “critical” nature of the planet, COP26 would not bring about “major changes”.
