Your daily diet can lead to your hormone imbalance, so the key to fixing this imbalance is by adjusting the diet by avoiding eating foods that cause the imbalance.
Here is a list of foods that you should avoid because they cause a hormonal imbalance in your body, according to the timesofindia website.
Red meat:
Because they are rich in saturated and hydrogenated fats, and eating a lot of them increases estrogen production in the body, and may exacerbate hormonal imbalance.
So it is best to replace them with fish, eggs or lean meat, which contain omega-3 fatty acids.
Stevia:
Most people rely on artificial sweeteners such as stevia to sweeten drinks, however, it is not a good idea to include them in the diet, as they lead to increased hormonal imbalance, and they can also have a negative effect on a man’s fertility or women’s menstrual cycle.
Cruciferous vegetables:
Not all vegetables are good for health. Cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, and kale may cause inflammation if consumed in excessive amounts. Additionally, they can negatively affect the thyroid gland, causing a hormonal imbalance.
Canned foods:
One of the main causes of hormonal imbalance, these foods are full of sugar, salt and preservatives, so eating them also leads to infections, stress and increases the risk of obesity.
Caffeine:
Excess caffeine can increase cortisol production in the body, and high cortisol levels are linked to stress hormones, which is a major cause of hormonal imbalance.
Dairy products:
Rich in nutrients, but if you suffer from a hormonal imbalance, it is necessary to reduce its intake or avoid it completely, because excessive consumption of it can lead to inflammation of the intestine and affect hormonal balance, as well as cause an increase in triglyceride levels, which affects the level of sugar in the body.
candy:
Excessive sugar-laden sweets and chocolates cause an increase in sugar levels, which helps in rising insulin levels, which ultimately affects the hormonal balance in the body.
soybean:
Excessive consumption of it can lead to hormonal imbalance in the body, because it contains a biologically active substance called Phytoestrogen, which increases estrogen in the body, affecting the ovulation cycle that affects reproductive health in the long run.
