According to the British newspaper, the Spanish secret service injected the exiled former king with female hormones because his sexual drive was a danger to the state.
Former Spanish police chief Jose Manuel Villarrigo, who is on trial for racketeering and corruption, said former head of the National Intelligence Center Felix Sanz Roldan was behind the plan.
He added that Juan Carlos had been injected with “female hormones and testosterone inhibitors to reduce his sexual desire.”
He pointed out that he did not personally participate in injecting the king with hormones, but was informed of the plot that took place on the part of Zhou Sayn Wittgenstein, the former mistress of Juan Carlos.
The king’s former mistress noted that he was given heavy female hormones in order to reduce his sexual desire.
