The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade offers frozen and fresh meat, through about 1,300 consumer complexes spread across the country, at competitive prices that are less than 30% of the external market.
The Ministry of Supply confirmed that the frozen meat available in consumer complexes is slaughtered according to Islamic law, and cooled for several hours below minus 40 degrees, after cutting it, and then stored in the latest methods to maintain its productive validity, which is a year from the date of production.
With regard to fresh Sudanese meat, the Ministry of Supply explained that the slaughter process takes place inside Egypt, after spending the period of veterinary quarantine for livestock, and inspecting them, then the Sudanese meat is sealed with a purple seal.
