Today, Tuesday, in his capacity as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, will embark on a working visit to Nouquit, according to a ministry statement.
The statement stated that during this two-day visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold meetings with the highest authorities in Mauritania, led by the Mauritanian President, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El-Ghazwani.
This visit falls – according to the statement – within the framework of embodying the common will that guides the leaderships of the two countries and their lofty orientations on the necessity of consolidating the year of consultation and coordination, as well as strengthening the existing strategic relations between the two countries and raising the pace of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
It will also constitute an opportunity to discuss regional and international issues of common interest, especially the latest developments on the Maghreb, Arab and African levels.
