Savar Highway Police and eyewitnesses said that Atiyar was coming towards Savar from Faridpur on a motorcycle. At around 11am, a bus coming from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle when it reached Dautia area of Sombhag union in Dhamrai upazila. Atiyar was hit in the head and died on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, Savar Highway Police went to the spot. At that time they found Atiyar dead. The body was later brought to Savar Highway Police Station. Highway police immediately informed the family members of the deceased about the accident.
