The ministry announced that the number of HIV infections in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 19,391, compared to 22,857 Friday and 20033 Saturday, bringing the total infections to 6.498 million cases.
And it stated that it had detected 269 new deaths from the disease, compared to 276 on Friday and 278 on Saturday, bringing the total victims of the pandemic in Turkey to 58,106 people.
The Turkish Ministry of Health also announced the recovery of 19,464 patients, bringing the total of those recovered to 5.930 million people.
Turkey is the seventh country in the world in terms of the number of coronavirus infections and the 18th in terms of the number of deaths.
