Eggs have many health benefits in the diet, but some studies have highlighted the dangers of overeating them.
The health digest website published a report saying that if you do not get the nutrients found in eggs, such as folic acid, phosphorous, selenium, calcium and zinc, you must get them from other sources such as dairy products, vegetables, fruits and legumes, according to Sputnik.
The report emphasized that without eating eggs, the feeling of hunger will increase, as eggs are a source of protein and help to feel full. Weight loss efforts may become more difficult, as studies show that eating eggs for breakfast can aid weight loss by providing maximum energy for the body with minimum calories and maintaining energy balance.
For people who prefer vegetarian diets, or anyone who wants to stop eating eggs for any reason, the alternative lies in foods such as tofu, soybeans, and others, according to the report.
In parallel with all the health benefits that eggs provide, there are still concerns about the effect of a diet rich in eggs on cholesterol levels, and its relationship to type 2 diabetes, and an egg weighing 50 grams contains more than 186 milligrams of cholesterol, or about 62% of the daily ration. Recommended.
The report stressed that studies talk about healthy people, but if you already suffer from heart problems or high cholesterol, consult your doctor about whether you can eat eggs and what quantity is allowed to be eaten.
