Salernitana, newly promoted to the Italian Serie A club, announced the inclusion of veteran French star Franck Ribery in the team.
Today, Ribery published a short video clip from the plane, via “Story” on Instagram.
The past few days have witnessed a spread of celebrations for Ribery’s possible joining Salernitana in the city of Salerno, where shops display shirts for the club bearing the name of the French star.
The club announced its rejection of this matter and said that it reserves the right to take legal action.
Ribéry had recently played for two years at the Italian club Fiorentina, but the club did not extend the contract after it expired, and the newspaper wrote that Ribéry would have liked to extend his contract for another year.
It is noteworthy that Salernitana, the new promoter of the Italian Premier League, did not get any points from his first two matches in the competition, and the club will play its third away match against Torino on Sunday.
