On Monday, September 6, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 1,923 new cases of coronavirus, down from 4,043 on Sunday.
The total number of coronavirus infections in Morocco has risen to 886,08.
Morocco also recorded 72 new deaths, down from 80 on Sunday, bringing the total deaths in the Kingdom due to Corona to 13,145 deaths.
The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research has again postponed the school entry date for the current season, to next October, after it had earlier postponed it to September 10 instead of the predetermined date of September 3.

The ministry’s statement said that it had taken this decision “taking into account the improvement in the epidemiological situation … the need to immunize the gains achieved in the face of the Covid-19 epidemic, and to reinforce the downward trend of recorded cases.”
The Moroccan government affirmed that it aims to “enable all female and male learners to benefit from this process, which will greatly contribute to achieving collective immunity… and the need to avoid any epidemiological setback, especially through the emergence of foci within educational and training institutions.”
