309 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 25 deaths were recorded in Algeria during the last 24 hours, while 274 patients have recovered, the Ministry of Health announced this Monday in a statement.
The same source indicated that the total confirmed cases amounted to 198,133 cases, including 309 new infections, while the total number of people who recovered reached 135,232 people, and the total number of deaths was 5,445.
According to the same source, 36 patients are currently in intensive care.
The statement added that 19 states have not recorded any cases during the past 24 hours, 16 states recorded from one case to 9 cases, while 13 other states recorded 10 cases or more.
The Ministry of Health recommends that citizens adhere to the vigilance system, and calls on them to respect the rules of hygiene, physical distance, the mandatory wearing of a protective mask, and compliance with quarantine rules.
