According to music hall sources, the death of a madrasa student in Brahmanbaria led to an attack, vandalism and arson at the Sursamrat Di Alauddin music hall on January 12, 2016. 2 sarods, 2 violins, 1 santur, 1 banjo and 1 sarangi used by Alauddin Khan in the museum at that time, at least 25 letters written by him, Jainamaz given by the King of Saudi Arabia during Hajj, 1 big picture of himself, taken with world leaders At least 1,000 photographs and photocopies were burned. After that incident, a mural of Ustad Alauddin Khan was placed inside the music hall.
Manjurul Alam Prothom Alo, a researcher and general secretary of the music hall, told Ustad Alauddin Khan that Ustad Alauddin Khan has practiced music for 102 years. But his music hall has been attacked twice in 2016 and 2021. All the relics of Ustad Alauddin Khan were destroyed in the attack. At present there is a trunk and two tabla used by Alauddin Khan. Efforts are being made to retain his memory.
