Books – Muhammad Mustafa:
Hossam El-Badry, coach of the Egyptian national team, said that the team passed through the most difficult stage during the qualifiers, thanking his players.
The Egyptian team tied against its host Gabonese, with a goal for the same, in the second round of the sixth group of the African qualifiers for the World Cup Qatar 2022, to lead the group temporarily.
Al-Badri said in televised statements after the match to On Time Sports 1: “I previously said that the September rally is the most difficult, given that they are the first two matches in the qualifiers, and the period after the end of the league, and suffering from fatigue.”
And he continued: “We came out with a positive result from outside our stadium, and we thank our Lord for the goal of Mustafa Muhammad.”
Al-Badri confirmed that he came to Gabon in order to win: “I confirmed this to the players, but the circumstances of the match prompted us to that scenario, especially after the expulsion, and I had to make some substitutions.”
The coach of the Egyptian national team praised the 12th player in the Gabon team: “He was a distinguished player, and I was surprised by his replacement.”
Al-Badri refused to talk about a specific player: “Any choices are a technical point of view, it would have been a risk if I pushed Tariq Hamed in the middle, especially since he played a match of only 3 days, and most of the match we owned the ball, every match has conditions and criteria.”
Al-Badri made 5 substitutions in the formation of the Pharaohs today for the formation he played in the Angola match in the opening qualifiers on the first of September, and ended with the victory of the Egyptian team with a clean goal.
Al-Badri spoke about the substitutions: “My substitutions are conciliation and confidence in the players’ capabilities. We took a risk and succeeded. Salah Mohsen made the goal, and Mustafa Mohamed scored the goal. All credit is due to the players because they are the ones who implemented the thought, and we thank our Lord for success.”
He concluded his speech about arbitration: “I will not talk about arbitration, and all that happened with Bakari Jasama, the referee of the match, was that he told me: I respect you, so I responded to him: I also respect you. We collected many previous matches.”
