Books – Ali Al-Bahaji:
Mostafa Mohamed, a player for the Egyptian national team and a professional in the ranks of the Turkish Galatasaray, confirmed that the goal he scored in the Gabon team came at his time and after he was under great pressure due to his lack of goals.
Mostafa Mohamed contributed to Egypt’s 1-1 draw against Gabon, in the match that was held today, Sunday, in the second round of the group stage of the African qualifiers for the World Cup (Qatar 2022) at Stade de Franceville.
The Egyptian team raised its score to 4 points at the top of the sixth group of qualifiers, and the Gabonese team got the first point.
Mohamed said in statements to On Time Sports 1: “Praise be to God for the equalizer, and congratulations to all the players and the technical staff of the Egyptian national team.”
He added: “The goal I scored came at the right time, and after Shawqa, I had not scored for a while and was subjected to great pressure, and the goal came at the right time.”
He continued, “The goal gave me a strong impetus for the next, and I have been working hard throughout the past period, and may God grant us success in a difficult match against a strong team like Gabon.”
He continued: “I thank Hossam El-Badri for giving me the opportunity to participate against Gabon. He understood my position, even though I arrived at the national team camp late.”
And he added, “There is a state of sadness among all the players. We could have won, and our goal is to win all the matches and it does not differentiate with us the matches outside the ground or on our land.”
And he concluded his statements: “I traveled to France after obtaining permission from Hossam El-Badri and underwent a medical examination, but the difference was in the other and the move to Bordeaux did not take place, but currently I am continuing until the end of the season with Galatasaray.”
