Farouk Jaafar, a member of the Zamalek club’s technical committee, confirmed that the transfer file of Abdullah Al-Saeed, a Pyramids player, to the ranks of the white team has not yet been resolved, adding, “There is a lot of talk.”
And the past hours witnessed news about negotiations between Zamalek and Abdullah Al-Saeed, as Hussein Labib, head of the committee in charge of managing Zamalek, confirmed that there are already negotiations between the two parties, but Pyramids issued an official statement in which he denied the matter.
During statements to the “Zamalkawi” program broadcast on the “Zamalek” satellite channel, Jaafar said: “There is a lot of talk on the subject of Abdullah Al-Saeed .. we have not resolved the matter yet.”
He added, “We, as a technical committee, present our technical point of view, but the coach is the decision-maker in the end. We will not buy the coach’s player who does not need his services.”
And he concluded: “Carteron (Zamalek coach) requested a contract with a striker No. 9 and a midfielder No. 10, there are needs for the team and we are trying to fulfill the wishes of the coach.”
