Khaled Mahdi, director of football at the Military Production Club, announced the transfer of Mustafa Al-Badri, the team’s striker and top scorer, to Al-Ahly during the current summer transfer period.
The director of football in production added, in exclusive statements to “Masrawy” on Sunday evening, that the deal was made in favor of Al-Ahly, and the player signed his transfer contracts to the Red Castle.
The last period witnessed the presence of interests from Al-Ahly and Zamalek, as well as offers from Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi, Ceramica Cleopatra and Farco, according to statements from production coach Ahmed Koshary.
And Mustafa Al-Badri had previously played in the Al-Ahly youth ranks after moving from his team Aswan in the summer 2019 transfer market, before the player left for free.
On the other hand, a source revealed to “Masrawy”, that the deal to transfer Mustafa Al-Badri to Al-Ahly was made for seven million pounds, with the production club receiving 10% of the resale to any other club.
The source added that Mostafa El-Badri will be out on loan next season, specifically to the Smouha team.
Al-Badri managed to participate in 28 matches with the Military Production team in the past season, to score 11 goals in the Egyptian We League competition.
Al-Badri became Al-Ahly’s fifth deal this summer, after contracting with South African international Percy Tau, Mozambican international Louis Miccione and the duo Karim Fouad and Hossam Hassan, in addition to restoring the duo Ahmed Abdel Qader and Ammar Hamdi.
