A source within Al-Ahly club confirmed that the technical staff of the red team is studying the promotion of Sami Kommas (assistant coach) to the position of general coach, succeeding Kevin Johnson.
Johnson took over the technical task in Pitso Mosimane’s apparatus during the month of October last year, but the South African coach is on the cusp of leaving Al-Ahly’s apparatus.
And according to what Masrawiya learned from a source inside Al-Ahly, there is a thought of relying on Sami Kommos as the general coach in the event of a failure to include a foreign coach.
And the source said in exclusive statements to Masrawy: “Kevin Johnson did not prove his success, and Musimani admitted that, and if he did not sign a foreign general coach, he would be the shirts of a general coach.”
And he concluded: “In the event that shirts are escalated to the position, Adel Mustafa may join the position of assistant coach in Al-Ahly.”
