Books – Hadi Al-Madani:
South Africa coach Hugo Bruce spoke about the condition of Al-Ahly’s new player, Percy Tau, and said that he needs more work to reach the level he expects from him, after the draw with Zimbabwe in the opening group stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
Percy Tau played a key role in the match, which ended without goals, before the South African coach decided to replace him in the 78th minute.
“Gift Links was not good in the first half, so we replaced him, as did Percy Tau, I think you watched the match, Percy is not in the best physical condition at the moment, and that’s normal,” the South African coach said in his comments after the match.
He continued, “We see that he lost the rhythm of the match, so this is something he has to work to overcome in the coming weeks.”
“But again, he’s still a good player, which is why he’s been on the field for as long as possible.”
“Hopefully in the next matches in October and November, we can have Percy Tau in a better shape than he is now.”
