Books – Egyptian editor:
English press reports stated that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is asking for a weekly salary of 500,000 pounds in order to agree to renew his contract with the team.
And the British newspaper, “Mirror”, said that Mohamed Salah wants to increase his current salary, estimated at 200,000 pounds per week, two years before the end of the contract, amid the current talk in order to extend the period of the Egyptian player’s stay in the team.
The newspaper explains that Mohamed Salah was the only player among the prominent names such as Virgil van Dijk, Allison, and Jordan Henderson who requested more than double his salary.
This salary will be the largest in Liverpool’s history if it is approved by the management, but it is expected within the club that they want to make a big offer to renew the player’s contract, but it will not reach 500,000 per week.
Mohamed Salah is currently with the Egyptian national team in Gabon for the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
