Algerian Kamel Kerjina won the silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Karjina was crowned with silver, in the shot put (F33), bringing the number of Algeria’s medals in the Tokyo Games to 12, 4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze.
Karjina finished second in the shot put final, after Moroccan Dirham, who won the gold, while the bronze came to Croatian Cerny.
Kargina’s silver is the second medal won by Algeria on Saturday, after runner Abdelkarim Keri won a medal of the same metal in the 1500m T38 race, breaking the record with a time of 4.03.07 d.
