The Egyptian Football Association announced the team of referees that will officiate the national team match against its Gabonese counterpart in the second round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The Egyptian team had managed to win the first round match against its Angolan counterpart, with a goal without a response, in the match that took place last Wednesday.
And the Football Association published a statement saying: “The Confederation of African Football chose a team from Gambia to manage the meeting of Gabon and Egypt in the African qualifiers for the World Cup, led by Bakari Gassama, Abdelaziz Bolul Jawa, Nafali Chargo, and a fourth referee, Lamine Jamia, and Pedro Ndwabeko of Guinea is watching the match.”
The second round match against the Gabonese team is scheduled to take place on Sunday at nine o’clock Cairo time.
The Gabonese team had lost the first round match against its Libyan counterpart.
