This morning, Wednesday, in Blida, the able theatrical artist Omar Kunduz died as a result of complications from being infected with the Corona virus, according to what was learned from the director of the Regional Theater of Mostaganem, Nabila Mohammadi.
He was known about the mighty artist Omar Kunduz, who died this morning at the age of nearly 70, the strength of his performance and his reincarnation of characters, as he practiced theatrical, film and television acting for more than 50 years, during which he lived the most important stages of theater and cinema and dealt with the most prominent Algerian actors and directors.
The late artist Omar Kunduz is considered one of the most important and veteran Algerian artists who worked in the theater, where he participated in the performance of a series of important theatrical works in the Algerian theater repertoire and shared his performance with the great Algerian theater faces of different artistic generations, such as the late Rowaished, the artist Sayed Ahmed Agoumi, Suleiman Benaissa and others. His theatrical record is rich with a selection of the most important productions of the Algerian theater and its directors, including the play “Babour Gharq” and “Boalem Zaid Al-Qadam”, accompanied by director Suleiman Benaissa, as well as the play “Shari Dala”.
On the other hand, the deceased Omar Kunduz participated, during his artistic career, in the performance of a series of television cinematic works of a humorous and social nature that simulate reality, such as “A Couple in Confusion” with the artist Nawal Zaatar, in addition to the movie “Diaf without Ardah” accompanied by the able artist Farida Sabonji. Al-Khardji” with the able artist Nadia Talbi, in addition to the movie “The Bus”. The deceased Omar Kunduz had studied the art of acting and performance at the Conservatoire Institute in Algiers, where are you in the art of acting and music, and he left his mark in the theatrical art scene thanks to his excellence in performance and the reincarnation of characters, as well as his distinctive voice.
The body of the deceased will be buried today, after the afternoon prayer, in the cemetery of the city of Blida.
