Today, Friday, heads of cows and sheep were delivered to a group of breeders affected by the fires in the state of Tizi Ouzou, in coordination between the interests of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and representatives of professionals.
A statement by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development published today, Friday, on the social networking account (Facebook), said that the organization of this operation was supervised by a representative of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Miloud Taraa, in coordination with the Chamber of Agriculture of the state of Tizi Ouzou and members of the professional councils (the Grain and Milk Division ) and heads of village committees.
The Ministry of Agriculture had started the process of distributing livestock to the affected farmers yesterday, Thursday, at the level of the Dra’ Bin Khadda site, while today, Friday, the other two sites located in Wadi Issa, where the livestock are stationed, were opened. The same statement emerges.
The compensation process will also include other states starting tomorrow, Saturday, including Bejaia, Skikda, Jijel and others until all farmers and educators are compensated in all states of the country, according to the same ministry.
